I'm conflicted. I've recently gotten back into my Josh Hartnett / Pearl Harbor phase again. Is there still a following for this? I know there's more attention to his more recent projects. Is there anyone that currently writes any fics/imagines for him?

Okay, so I'm posting this here, why? Ugh, I don't even know. This story is coming (when ?, idk but it will come; I have way too many ideas). It will be a Pearl Harbor!Danny Walker x OC, and I'd like to write a multi-chapter story.

I’m stupid close to writing a fix it fic for Pearl Harbor where Danny doesn’t die because he’s been on my mind non stop for the past three days and it’s getting stupid (darn you Josh Hartnett)

Would anyone be interested??? It would prolly still follow the same story line with some changes but with reader added with Evelyn and not just Evelyn. Let me know though!!

Danny Walker - Pearl Harbor, 2001

Close friends lined the back of the Tiki bar. Whispered chatter filled the air as people filed into the room. The atmosphere was heavy and it made Y/N weak and unsteady. As she braced herself against the bar top, she kept her gaze on Rafe. The look she received confirmed that he too was close to crumbling. The grief was unbearable.

Once people stopped walking in, Rafe moved behind the bar and grabbed bottles. He passed a few to Y/N, “Can you take the right side?” 

“Yes, sir.” she said, uncapping the bottles and began making her rounds filling shot glasses of those present. Everyone had a glass, a few even surprised her as they were not much for drinking. It was for Danny though, everyone would make an exception for him. Even Evelyn took a shot. 

You felt bad for her. She had just lost her love. Her unborn child’s father. When she was with Rafe she thought losing him was bad, when he had been shot down at sea and told he died. She had Danny to help her through. But now he is gone, and you and Rafe remain.

Rafe cleared his throat and the room fell silent. He held out his shot and took a deep breath, “Danny was a good man. More than a good man. He was a brother, a best friend…a man one could count on for almost anything - ” He had to pause a tear fell. His gaze lifted up to you, begging for you to stand near.

You slipped your way through the crowd to stand beside him, his arm sliding over your shoulders. You lean into him, rubbing his back in hopes to console him, even if it’s just a fraction.

Rafe looks back up at the crowd, although silent, there was not one dry eye in the room. “I can’t say much more otherwise I’ll turn into a big ol’ baby.” he chuckles. “But Danny Walker…the pilot romantic and the unfortunate. May he continue to fly high in the sky. He’s in a better place up there, but he sure left a hole down here. To Danny!” he cheered, raising his shot up high before slamming it back.

“To Danny!” echoed the room.

But I also have the beginning of a story on Danny from Pearl Harbor in my drafts and of course my story of Remus lupin which also needs to be finished: so here I am :
